Welcome to the 2013in2013 Club! Additional info

WELCOME TO THE 2013in2013 CLUB!

POSTING YOUR WEEKLY MILES
Each week - on Sunday - we will post a thread titled **2013in2013** Week nn - Post 'em. When you see the thread simply post your mileage for the previous week ending on Sunday. Note: if your weeks go Sunday-Saturday just post that time period. It's not important as long as it's consistent. The format for posting your mileage is:

RWUsername,Week#,Miles

Examples:
ZubenElGenubi,6,26.4
ZubenElGenubi, 6, 26.4

In order in insure proper data download you must make sure to spell your username correctly, use commas to separate the data, and enter it in the correct order. DO NOT POST ANYTHING ELSE ON THE FIRST LINE. You may post additional info or comments below your data entry line.

POSTING DEADLINE
The deadline to post for the current week will always be
Wednesday at 12:00 Noon Central Time. If your data is not posted by this time, your mileage will not be included in the weekly awards or count towards the Head2Head Challenge for your team. Late posts will be recorded and individual stats updated as time allows.

INJURED RESERVE - LEAVE OF ABSENCE - MILITARY LEAVE
If you know you will not be able to run for an extended period of time due to any of the following reasons:

* medical (injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, etc.),
* military leave
* vacation
* other leave of absence

please send us a PM or email and we will place you on appropriate leave. This will exempt you from having to post each week and will also allow your team to still possibly gain bonus points when all other members post on time. If you are ready to return, send me another PM and Iwe'll reinstate you.

If you are not on IR and do not post for three (3) weeks, you will automatically be removed from the Club. There are no exceptions!

POLICY REGARDING LATE POSTERS

·         Members who post late three (3) or more times during the year may be removed from their team by majority vote of team members.

·         The Club Admin will notify the team captain of any member having three or more late posts. The team captain may then ask for a vote from all team members. For proper validation, all votes must be submitted to the Club Admin through PMs or emails. All members, including those on IR or leave of absence, will be allowed to vote.

·         Regardless of the time required, once a simple majority of votes is reached - either for retention or removal - the Club Admin will announce the end of voting and notify all parties as to the result.

·         If a team votes to remove a member, the member shall remain in the Club as an individual participant. If a team votes to retain a member, the member shall remain in good standing and shall not be subject to additional votes unless they record another late post.

Similarly, a Club Member may ask to withdraw from a team and become an individual participant for the remainder of the season.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: During the year we drop members who do not post for three (3) weeks. However, at the start of the Club, we will drop members who do not post in these FIRST TWO WEEKS. This should help reduce the impact of persons who sign up and then don't participate.

WEEKLY STATS THREAD
After we have compiled all of the data, I will post the results in a thread titled *2013in2013 - Week nn - Results/Awards*.   This will take you to hte 2013in2013 blog.  Here you will be able to track your progress towards your goal and get some interesting individual statistics along with weekly awards. The will show the mileage for the week, average weekly mileage, miles above or below goal pace, and most importantly, the weekly mileage needed to reach your goal. Along with these stats there are some fun individual awards based on how you've been running lately.

THE NAG LIST THREAD
At least once per week (usually two or three times) we update and publish a Nag List of all members who have not posted in the current week and/or haven't posted in previous weeks. If you show up, but think you've already posted, check your post to ensure that you spelled your username correctly and that the proper format was followed.

THE GOOGLE DOC/EXCEL SPREADSHEET
Each week, usually by Friday, I will try to update the spreadsheet with everyone's current stats. Here you can review your data to ensure its accuracy and see a table with all of your fellow clubmates statistics.

If you still have questions, please check the FAQ section of the blog first, then send me or Doug a PM if we've still got you confused! We’re always looking for new award ideas or ways to keep club members motivated.

If you would like more information on the Head2Head Challenge, please read the Head2Head challenge post in the blog.
